 Tommy Africa's first opened in December 1988, to a full house, and has been a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike for the last 15 years. Located in the main Village Square, beside the taxi loop. Tommy's features many different styles of music ranging from hip hop, R&B, house, top 40, breakbeats, funk and the ever popular 80's retro. Tommy Africa's is a true innovator and has been first in creation of many things in Whistler including the first to have Gogo Dancers, and the first to import D.J.'s from all over North America and Europe. Tommy's has been voted best place to dance in Whistler. Come see the coolest DJ Booth around with 4 turntables and an incredible lighting system. Hours are from 9pm - 2am, Sundays 9pm - 1am.
